World War Two / How to find Grandad? William Reilly

Hi

I have never been able to find my grandads army records, army number, anything

All i know is this;

Born; Liverpool
Toured; India
Lived Liverpool all his life
Got 4 Medals
Born: William Reilly - 07/03/1924

All we know is, he came home once with a rifle. No idea what regiment (100% army) and he toured India.

Any help would be amazing.

He died 2015.

Hey guys,

I have scanned these in at 1000dpi. I was wondering if you could possibly help me make these very old pics any better?

Please bare in mind in the next couple weeks i will have a few images i will need help on, so don't want you wasting all your time making lots of changes to the same image as i value your time and work too much.

This is the only photo in existence in the whole family, i would love if you guys could do something with it. It is my nan, she died 1959 when my mum was only five.

Her death cert is coming this week, i want to make a couple of copies of your work for family members and most of all my mum

its 1200dpi

I found an old photograph of a ship, the photographer is 'R.T.S Photography, Liverpool' and the name looks like R T Shaw
Does anyone have any information on this photographer/photography? I am trying to work out why my grandad may have had this picture.

Found something great today, my great great grandparents burial i was wondering if anyone is in the area as i am in london at the moment for a while.

I am wanting to know if there is a gravestone, anything to take a picture of for me and if anyone else is buried with them.

Here is all the info i have:

buried in Allerton Cemetery
352 CEM 5/1/3 Pg 60 16455 1924 Mary Ann Reilly
352 CEM 5/1/3 Pg 56 16363 1924 William Reilly

I am looking for details on my great-grandmother, she died around June 1970. Her name was Consuelo Reilly

REGISTRATION DISTRICT:   Widnes
INFERRED COUNTY:   Lancashire

I have never seen the grave nor any info on it or if she is buried with anyone else.
