Sussex Lookup Requests / Directories Look up request

Hi,

Can anyone kindly help me by looking up in any of the directories for East Grinstead circa 1923 please.

I'm looking to confirm the where abouts of Frank (F E) Dawes. I have an address of Dalehurst, Felbridge, East Grinstead. Frank's wife was Eleanor.

Any other information on this family would be great.

My cont'd saga with my brick wall has lead me to a James Dawes on the 1851 census. Ancestry has it indexed as James Darvas!

This James Dawes says he was born in Worplesdon, Surrey circa 1796.

Would someone be kind enough to look him up for me?

John Cobb appears on the 1851 census as being born in "Bronnige"! Does anyone have any idea where this was / is? On the 1861 John has Fareham as his place of birth.

I have several family names from Gosport all on my maternal line

Mary Ann / Marianne Peachey born circa 1800?

Her hubbie Thomas Mortimore born circa 1800?

Charlotte West born circa 1820 father John West?

Ann Luke born circa 1790? Married John Cobb 1810 (I have this marriage)

I have the marriages for the above that I have mentioned and I've got them on the census but any further information would be great. If you have an interest in any of these names I'd love to hear from you.

Can someone kindly look up a baptism on the Barnstable Parish Records - please.

James Fairchild circa 1820.

He appears on the 1841 census in Ilsington aged 20 yrs and works as a gardener. He later went on to marry Rebecca Woods in 1846.

Hi All,

I have a John Terlour = Mary Ann Mortimore in Gosport 1845. John was born in Falmouth Cornwall according the the Census records.

On his marriage cert his father is John Trelour!

Can anyone help with this JT senior is he really John Treloar?

I have info on his daughter Jane's SHEAFF born 1814 in Acrise but I have no bap or marriage info for John.

Jane married George COURT of Acrise.
