Perthshire / Family mystery of Wainwood McDonald PERTHSIRE

Please help me.

I have been trying to solve this now for years (literally), but I can’t seem to find anything.

I’m looking to information on a Wainwood McDonald, but on various records I’ve also seen it written Wanewood, Winwood and Winewood. What even is that name? Does anybody know? I’ve never ever heard of it. Is it a real name, a surname as a first name, a nickname, a highland name?

Anyway, I’m not sure when she was born, but she married DONALD MCDONALD 1776 TIBBERMORE, PERTHSIRE (I’ve also seen him as DANIEL MCDONALD on some records though?).

Together they had-
JANET MCDONALD 1777
MARGARET MCDONALD 1780
DAVID MCDONALD 1786
ALEXANDER MCDONALD 1788
HELEN STEWART MCDONALD 1791
ANN MCDONALD 1793

I believe she passed away 1821. Maybe her surname wasn’t McDonald as is stated on her marriage cert? Could it of been wrong? After all, that would mean a McDonald was marrying a McDonald? I don’t know. It’s a mystery to me. If Anybody feels as though they could add anything, I would be SO grateful

Hello,

I’m wondering if anybody could help me? I’m trying to find information on two people, first William Kirby b 1801(roughly) in Norfolk(?) and secondly Sarah Ward b 1804(roughly) in Melton, Norfolk(?). I believe they had a dau named Mary Ann Kirby who was b 1851 and she married William Reeve b 1850, Wymondham Norfolk.

Any info on the first couple would be amazing as I’m struggling to find anything on them. No info is too small :)

Could anybody give me any more info on William Benjamin Reeve? A marriage cert arrived for him today and I'm wondering if anybody could find him any census records?

He married Eva Twitchett formerly Guymer in Ipswich, 1905. He was a Labourer and his address was 64 Victoria street. His father was William Reeve. I know plenty about his wife Eva but not much on William.

Anything would be greatly appreciated, I'd like to know why he was living in Ipswich when most of the family lived in Norwich :)

I'm looking for any info on THOMAS SHAW B 1829 CUMBERNAULD. He was the son of GEORGE SHAW and MARY WATSON. I believe THOMAS was the father of my 3x great grandfather THOMAS SUNTER who was b illegitimately in GLASGOW but registered in KILCONQUHAR, FIFE.

Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Please help me with my SUNTER family research :)

So far I am up too DAVID SUNTER who married MARGARET ANDREW in PAISLEY, RENFREWSHIRE 1785.

I believe that MARGARET originated from PAISLEY and DAVID from FIFE. Most of his sons, sons sons and so on coming from the KILCONQUHAR area. I don't have a birth for DAVID or MARGARET as of yet.

I know of children
Jean, Alexander, James, Anne, David, John, Janet, Elizabeth and William. Some born PAISLEY others born Kilconquhar.

The surname changes from SUNTER to SUNTAR and a few others. DAVID was possibly the son of ALEXANDER SUNTAR and MARGARET SYMSON.

Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm looking for info on Eleanor Read I believe she was born 1860 Little Ormesby, Norfolk. She married William Utting. I BELIEVE she was the dau of Robert Read and Mary Ann Wright but I can't find any more info one her. I'd love to take her line back further and would appreciate any info anybody can find on her

Please help me,

I'm looking for further info on John Lindley/Linley and Harriett Cusworth. They married they married 1804 in Rotherham. I know of two children, Sarah Lindley b 1805 wath upon dearne and John Lindley b 1818 wath upon dearne who I believe married Maria Cookson.

I think Harriett Cusworths father might of been called Edward but I'm not sure on this.

Any info would be a huge help

I'm looking for info on John Wright who I BELIEVE was born about 1773, he married ELISABETH HENDERSON JUNE 15 1796 DUNDEE, ANGUS. I know of their children ROBERT, JOHN, JAMES and CLEMENTINA.

I think JOHNS parents where JAMES WRIGHT and CATHERINE LAWRIE possibly married 1760 DUNDEE, ANGUS?  But I'm looking for any info on his parentage what so ever :)

Does anybody have any info on Maria Cookson b 1818 Barnsley. She passed away 1890 Barnsley, she married John Linley (not sure when). I believe her parents where Craven Cookson and Sarah Senior?
