Looking for Information on my husbands Great x 4 grandfather, Richard Sinnott/Sennett/Synnott.  We know he did not immigrate to the USA and died in Tipperary.  He was married to Honorah/Norah and was probably about 40-42 in 1852.  The family came to the USA in 1853/1854 timeframe and settled in Western, Pennsylvania.  He had 5 children - John, Catherine, Margaret, William and Helen/Ellen.

Thank you!  Irish Lynn

« on: Wednesday 27 November 19 12:55 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for any information on the Thomas  or William Boyd Family that lived in the Ayrshire area in the early to mid 1700s.  They moved to Northern Ireland (Coleraine) during that century and were Stonecutters and Masons.

Eventually my Boyd relatives immigrated to New York City in 1839.  I would love to find the Scottish connection. Thanks!  Irish Lynn

Looking for information on my husbands Great, Great, plus grandmother Honora (Nora) who married Richard Synnott/Sinnott in 1835ish timeframe in Tipperary.

They had 4-5 children, 3 that immigrated.  Margaret, Catherine and William Sennett immigrated to NorthEast, PA or Buffalo area around 1854 timeframe.   We don't know what happened t the other 2 children.  We think their names were John and Helen or. Ellen.

Richard Synnott did not come to the USA but was killed in Tipperary before they immigrated.  Any information on the O'Gorman or. Synnott/Sennett/Siinnott Families welcome!  Irish Lynn

« on: Friday 10 June 16 03:08 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

Trying to find as much information on my Great Grandfathers side of family that came from Cassel or Kassel Germany. Reinhardt immigrated to US in about 1867 to 1869. He was born in 1840 and he married in New York to another German.  He lived in Klein Deutschland in New York City.  He ran a successful bakery.  All I know from his family came from his marriage certificate in NY.  His father was William Muller and mother was Louisa Banzinger.  The certificate says he was from Cassel Hesse Prussia and marriage was in 1869.  He came to New York as a single adult man and I do not know of other relatives that came with him.  He did run his bakery with another man from Cassel, Prussia name Frederick   Metzer.  Any help is much appreciated!  The Varsteiner Girl.

Hello,

I am researching my paternal Great, Great, Great grandparents Thomas Boyd and his wife Leticia and their families.  One of their daughters, Margaret Ann Boyd is my Great x2 grandmother.  There was also a Thomas Boyd Junior, Jane Boyd and I believe a Nancy Boyd that immigrated to New York in about 1839 or 1840.  There may have been another son (Hugh)?  Thomas Boyd senior was born in about 1785 according to his death records and his wife Leticia born in about 1786,  Both are buried in New York (Brooklyn), but we're married and born in Northern Ireland.   Any information much appreciated!  Irish Lynn

Trying to find any information on my Grandmothers paternal side in Londonderry (I believe).  Her Gandparents were born in Colleraine area.  John Heaney was born February, 1827. He married Margaet Ann Boyd in New York.  John immigrated to USA 1838 to 1840s.  John Heaney had a younger brother named Daniel Thomson Heaney  Dabiel was born in 1842 in Ireland..  Daniel came to the US in 1858 or 1859.  Margaret Ann Boyds parents were Thomas Boyd and Leticia Boyd. They came to New York in 1839 from Northern Ireland.

There is an Ann Heaney whose parents were Robert Heaney and Jane Wallace.  I think Robert Heaney and Thomas Heaney may have been brothers.

Any information is so appreciated<. Irish Lynn
