Does anybody know where the burial records for Ballysheehan Cemetary, Ballyporeen, Tipperary are kept? I'd be very grateful for any advice.

I would be extremely grateful for serious guidance from anybody with some smart moves when it comes to tracking down Irish family BMDs.
My great-grandfather died in Ballyporeen, Tipperary, between the 1901 and 1911 census but I can't find any record of his death in the online records. Every so often over the past 10 years myself and my wife have studied the online records hoping they have been updated and include my great-grandfather but without any luck at all so far.
Is there any other way that I could find a record of his death or will I just have to assume the record of his death has been lost? Any help or suggestions would be very gratefullt received.

United States of America / How did they afford this journey?

A distant relation of my wife on her father's side of the family emigrated to the United States in 1823, taking his wife and six children with him. We weren't aware that he was a particularly wealthy man yet he somehow managed to afford to take a party of eight to the States - surely it must have been a hugely expensive enterprise? Or are we wrong? Was it possible to negotiate cut-price deals back in those days? What would have been the rough cost of the voyage?
The family sailed on the Frances Henrietta from London to New York - is anybody able to tell us anything about this ship? Was it a rusting hulk or did it do the run on a regular basis?
We'd be ever so grateful for any information anybody might have.

World War Two / Help needed with uniform please

I'd be very grateful if somebody could help me out by identifying this uniform. I know it isn't the sharpest of photos but any clues would be gratefully received - even the country would be a great help. Any other info would be a major bonus. Thank you in anticipation for any help that is forthcoming.

Ireland / Photocopied certificate problems

I am based in England and trying to obtain photocopied birth, marriage and death certificates of my grandmothers and grandfathers. I am having a problem completing the application form because I only have the Civil Registration Births (and Deaths) Index information (ie. Date of Registration, Registration District, Volume, Page and FHL Film Number) rather than the exact date and place of birth, PPS number (we're talking about a birth in 1868), and their parents' full names and occupations - exactly the kind of info I'm trying to get from the certificates!
Is it possible to order photocopies of these certificates with just the Civil Registration Index information?

Armed Forces / British Army court martials in India 1934

As a newcomer to this site I was hoping somebody would be able to give me some guidance or advice on how I can find details of a British Army court martial that took place in India in September 1934. The case involved my uncle and he was charged with 'conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline. Section 40AA.' I know the outcome of the case but have no idea what he was actually accused of doing. Could somebody point me in the right direction please? Would these records be available? If so, where should I look? I would appreciate any help that anybody can offer.
