Hi all, I'm new to this and this is my very first post so I hope I'm doing this correctly!
I'm searching for descendants of my 2x great grandparents:
David Wood b. 04 Nov 1870 in Kincardine, Perthshire, and
Helen Chalmers Brownlee b. 15 Sept 1871 in Lauder, Berwickshire
They were married on 29 Dec 1895 in Melrose
They had 7 children:
David
Andrew
Thomas
John
Isabella
Helen
Janet
Andrew was killed in WWI, and John is my great grandfather, so it's not those lines I'm interested in. What I'm looking for specifically, is if any of the boys had a son named Andrew Wood. The reason I'm asking is because my granny was gifted a family bible that had our ancestors in it from the 1600s, and her cousin, Andrew Wood, asked for it so she sent it to him (unbeknownst to us!). This happened in the 90s, and she has since developed alzheimers so unfortunately can't tell us any information about Andrew, his parents, or any of her other cousins. I'd love to track him down and ask for copies of the bible, but I'm at a loss as to where to begin to search. I know that he was born in Edinburgh, and moved to Australia sometime during the 70s or 80s. Possibly even 90s.

Oh, I should add, I'm in New Zealand so unfortunately can't access any Scottish or Australian records (I've exhausted my options on Scotlands People, as I don't think records are available from a certain date).
