I am looking online at the Burial Register Ripley Meeting House 1829 Hants 49II, and there are a number of my ancestors there. I was wondering if there was any earlier books, or even registers in Ripley of Marriages etc.
Hope someone can help, thanks.

Family History Beginners Board / Richardi Goldi
« on: Wednesday 08 March 17 22:06 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, I have come across this record in my Peckham family Tree research, for Richardi Golde in the Somerset, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1531-1812.
Its the baptism of Ursula Golde his daughter.
Its a 50 page book, and it seems to be in Italian, with some Dutch people as well.
I am wondering what is it all about.
Is it a record of baptisms on a ship that may have come from Italy.
Its very interesting so I hope someone can help.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight / John Peckham_Mary Angel Marriage and births
« on: Monday 27 February 17 06:47 GMT (UK)  »
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to find the wedding of John Peckham Maryand Mary Angel, and eventually found it on a site called subscription website, after failing in both Ancestry and Family Search.
The website  wanted money for more details, but I was surprised that I got nowhere with Family Search as they have bee fantastic recently.
What I found was the marriage in 1722 of John Peckham to Mary Angel, but of course I was hoping to find a bit more than that as I am unsure of when John was born, and I  know Mary was born in Lacock 1704?, so parents information would have been great. They married fcommoneor love only as John was a commoner [my GGGGrandfather] and she came from a wealthy family [and was renounced for any money]. Hope there is someone that can help.

Glamorganshire / Robert Rees
« on: Saturday 04 February 17 03:28 GMT (UK)  »
My great grandfather Robert Rees was was born in Cobh abt. 1858, and a stonemason, in 1878 he is living at 26 Watkin Street, Swansea and profession is stonemason [on his marriage certificate]. He married Gwenllian Owen of 28 Watkin Street. I know that they had my grandmother Margaret Ann and her sister Emily and possibly other children, but then appear to have moved to Cardiff, and in 1909 he is recorded on the wedding certificate of Margaret Ann. There is a family rumour that they had something to do with a Cinema/Picture Palace in Swansea. I am also looking for information on a relation of his Michael Sullivan [age 38]of Bere Island near Killarney, and he is counted on the census of 1901 in 25 Charles Street Swansea with his wife Mary [32] and four children. By 1911 Michael is counted in the census at my grandfathers house 13, Sandon Place Cardiff as visiting with his wife Mary. I am unsure if Michael lived in Cardiff at this stage, however I did find a Timothy Sullivan who married my grandmothers sister Emily Rees and wondered if they are related.
I read a comment by Peter Spencer that he had been researching his family who came from Cobh, which has spurred me on to ask my questions.
Any information much appreciated.
