Kerry / Any information on Spring family Kerry?

"In 1578, Captain Thomas Spring, the grandson of Thomas Spring of Lavenham, settled in Ireland as the Constable of Castlemaine, where there was a small English garrison."

That's roughly the center of a large Spring cluster around Tralee(as shown in attachment) with people like this guy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Spring) who's my 2nd cousin twice removed or more mentioned here (http://www.irishtimes.com/news/another-spring-about-to-be-sprung-in-kerry-1.926071) there's a lot of Springs in Tralee.
I can also see a lot of people like this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Spring_Walker) who are more similar to Anglo-Irish gentry whereas my great grandmother was just a normal Irish person.
Is it likely that these two Springs are linked(descended from Captain Thomas Spring)? It seems the most likely origin of this surname in that area.
