Australia / HORACE BOURBARD AND WIFE ADA
« on: Friday 19 April 24 07:33 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
I would like some guidance about the above couple. I know Horace was born in France and that he and his wife Ada travelled on board the "Bahia Castillo" departing London on 17th April 1920. I don't know when they arrived in the UK and I can't find them in Australia or when they actually arrived.
My son-in-law knew his grandfather, Kenneth Charles son of Horace and Ada. Kenneth's parents divorced in 1937 and his mother Ada remarried in 1939 to a "Charles". Kenneth took on the new family name of Charles. Probably no paperwork ever done...
If anyone can send me some advice, that would be great. Thank you. Dianne

Ireland / Mollie Madgalen Ware - birth
« on: Friday 21 April 23 07:01 BST (UK)  »
Hello all,
I had no luck looking on the Dublin forum - most likely my fault but I was wondering if anyone is researching Mollie's family - she came to Australia and married one of my ancestors who I have lots of info. on. (Richard Gordon Esse).
We would like to try and find Mollie's parents and maybe any siblings - a long shot but if I don't try, I will never know.

Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Di

Dublin / Mollie Magdalene Ware, Dublin
« on: Friday 21 April 23 05:07 BST (UK)  »
Hello all,

I am the family historian for the ESSE family UK to Australia - I have a lady "Mollie Magdalene Ware"
who married my Ancestor Richard Gordon Esse in Sydney in 1922.  There is some discrepancy about her birth year and I was hoping someone on this forum could help.

I understand that Mollie Magdalene Ware was born about 1900 in Dublin and that is all the information I have about her except from when she married Richard - have quite a lot from their marriage.

Is there a website/facility that I can search for her birth details and her parents.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

London and Middlesex / Charles Burton Barber
« on: Tuesday 27 April 21 05:03 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
My friend and I are trying to locate the burial place of Charles Burton Barber, Artist to Queen Victoria, who was born on 24 March 1845 and died in 27 November 1894 in Marylebone, Greater London.

We have searched Find-a-grave, Billiongraves, and googled to no avail.

There is much information about Charles, but nothing to indicate where he was buried.

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Di and Janet

Technical Help / Program Help ID please
« on: Tuesday 23 July 19 03:15 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
I am trying to ID the program used to produce this chart. It is for a friend and she wants to know what program it came from.

We know it is not PAF, Brother's Keeper, Family Tree Maker (she thinks), and someone else said it is not Legacy (I'm unsure about that though).

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Di
