Hello RootsChaters
Looking for information about Richard Stack who was tried Limerick 20/7/1835. Richard was a "Nailer" & was charged with "Stealing shoes". Sentenced to 7 years & transported on the ship "Surrey 8" which arrived in Australia 17/5/1836.
Wondering if anyone has access to Find My Past where apparently the records of trial etc have been transcribed. Would really appreciate someone checking to see if he is there.
I have his details in NSW & just looking for information about his life in Ireland.

Wiltshire / Hannah Moody's burial
« on: Monday 07 March 22 04:53 GMT (UK)  »
Hello Rootschat
Looking to see if the cemetery "Brown Street" New Sarum, Wiltshire, still exists.
Looking to see if there is a head stone for Hannah Moody who was born 1806 & died 1807. Parents were Joshua & Patty Moody. Hannah died 25.11.1807.
Joshua & Patty were non conformists & I have found a reference  "Non conformists & dissenting studies 1650-1850 which mentions Joshua Moody. They reference the entry as "UBD Vol.4 p.561" Does anyone know what "UBD" stands for?
Appreciate  any help & thanks in anticipation

Hi Rootschatters
Looking for information relating to Benjamin Henry Price B.1823 Middlesex D,1876 (possibly New Zealand.
Family story (we all know about them) has him on the Cutty Sark. Wondering if anyone has access to the crew listings relating to the Cutty Sark (I believe the book "Cutty Sark" list crews) to see if he is listed as a crew member.
It could possibly be Benjamin's son who was also called Benjamin Henry Price b.1856 d.1939(New Zealand).

Australia / Convicts on the ship "Hashemy" arrived 9th June 1849
« on: Thursday 07 March 19 00:37 GMT (UK)  »
Hi RootsChat
Does anyone know if there are records for the convicts who were on the ship 'Hashemy". They were classed as Exiles. I have a convict who was on the ship but having trouble finding out what the process was when they landed.
I think they were given a "ticket of leave" or "conditional pardon" but I can't find him on the NSW Archives site for convicts.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Devon / Mary Baker Nicholls - Sidmouth
« on: Monday 15 January 18 01:43 GMT (UK)  »
Wondering if someone could please help with the birth/marriage of Mary Baker Nicholls. I believe she was born 27/08/1794 Sidmouth & her parents were William & Mary (nee Stone) Nicholls. If possible I would like to confirm these details of her birth.
Re her marriage - pretty sure she married James Pearce 19/12/1824 - could have been in Sidmouth  but may have been Bath, Somerset. Again would like to confirm her parents & also James parents.
Mary Baker (Nicholls) Pearce died 3/1/1839 aged 44 at John St. Bath.
Many thanks in anticipation
