« on: Tuesday 03 December 19 23:21 GMT (UK)  »
Hi would anybody be able to help confirm a few details on this census extract ..

Its potentially my GG grandmother Ellen Donnell and her family etc but I'm unsure on how or who the James Dyce (or Dice) is in relation to the Census and also the address as
Rev. Andrew Obrien C.C
Ballymitty Wexford.

Theres also a few scribbling at the bottom of the page I'm unable to decipher.

Any help I'd be very grateful
Many thanks!

Family History Beginners Board / Birth parents help! :)
« on: Monday 08 October 18 02:25 BST (UK)  »
Hi please would anyone be able to help me trace my 2nd great grandfathers birth records/parents as I'm really struggling!?

I think he was born Alfred Allen around 1852 in Worcester St Martin.

He was known as Frederick Allen by friends and family and also used Frederick on his census returns from 1881 though to 1911.

He married Charlotte Lamb (late Marshall) in Southwark March 1875.

It's only since finding his marriage banns did I realise he was Alfred Allen and showing father as Thomas Allen but I'm struggling to find any other family records for him.

I wonder If any once could help?!

Hope that all makes sense!  thanks Zoe x

Hi I'm not sure if I'm being really silly but my great uncles WW1 war records show 2 of his children's birthplace as S.H.V.
Im assuming that it could be an abbreviation for Southwark and just wanted to ask your opiniona!? 😊x
