Northumberland / sword - british sub parentage

census 1901 Ernest w sword born 1891 to isabella and james born newcastle living 137 molineux street heaton with 8 siblings.  HOWEVER on the 1911 census he is a border/baker living at 38 Pitt Street, Newcastle BUT is down as a british sub parentage. His parents were born in Newcastle area and never left the country.  Has anyone any ideas as to why heis the only child with this title ???

Can anyone fine the sword family on 1901 cenusus pls.  I have them in 1801 living in Westoe, durham.  Head James w,   wife Isabella,  Mary ann,  margaret,  helen,  robert   Im sure Margaret had more siblings by 1901.  Any help much appreciated thanks.  Jessy

My great grandfather was 1846.  All Saints Tynemouth, Northumberland and died in 1928.  I am wanting to apply for a birth certificate but have applied to North Shields and Newcastle but they both say they cannot find him.  He did exist!!!!!!  Can anyone out there find himn please???  Thanks Jessie

Can anyone help me find this man and his family.  James Charles Francis Hammond married Isabella Smith Tynemouth 1918 they had one child Betsy Colquhoon (I think thats how it is spelt)   Hammond born 1919.  James disappeared in about 1920 never to be seen again but the family think his mothers maiden name may have been Colquhoon.  He came from London but his mother was possibly scotish I would love to know if he had any siblings.  This is probably a long shot but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks a bunch Jess

Hi,  Can anyone see the Bamford family on the 1841 census please.  William born approx 1802 in Mordon/Morton surrey with son Charles born 1833 ish sibs. william john francis and fred.  i think he was married to a Mary??  Thanks Jess

Leading aircraftman Leslie Nendick stationed Belfast 1942.  Other than travelling to Kew is there any way I can get details of this persons RAF records i.e exactly what he did and where else  he was stationed during the war,  I have his identity card saying unit SHQ and his number.  Thanks Jessy

My great grandfather Thomas Smith born 1846/7 (fther Thomas mthr Elizabeth) all born Cullercoats northumberland is shown on 1871 census as 24 and a widow.  I know he remarried a Sarah Johnson/Johnstone but have been trying to find his first marriage and who too.  Can anyone help me please????  Jessy

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find business listings????  I believe one of my relatives Charles Jones born 1893 Liverpool had a clock watch and jewellery business in Liverpool but I dont know where.  Dont know where to start on this one.  Jessy

I have a Joseph M Ogle born 1858 Newcastle upon tyne on the 1861 census aged 3.  I cant find him in 1871 and in 1881 the only one I can find that fits in is living in Canada  in Brantford, Ontario aged 23 occup. fitter.  He is a lodger or boarder.  How can I confirm that this is my Joseph????? On the 1861 census he appears to have a middle name of Masher or Mather (cant read) but have not had this confirmed.  Can anyone help please.  Thanks Jessy
