Family History Beginners Board / Griffith Williams
« on: Saturday 08 September 18 11:41 BST (UK)  »
Hello everyone. I have been searching for a Griffith Williams 1863....found him on the following Census..1891,1901,1911, but besides a marriage certificate for the 15th February,1886 to Mary Ann Ashcroft, where it states Griffiths Father`s name is John Williams (other relatives say it was Thomas!) I can`t find anything else. Griffith was supposed to be born in Liverpool 1863,but I can`t find him or any Brothers and Sisters of his. His Father was supposed to be born between 1827-1830 in North Wales and a ships Captain in the same area, who married a Jewish lady who`s name I do not know. Not sure how to proceed, keep going around in circles on a website....any suggestions please would be most helpful. Thank you.

I`m looking for my uncle John Reed/Reid who moved to Canada on the 23 Aug 1929 from Liverpool arrived on the 31 Aug 1929, on the Doric, he was only 16 years of age. His occupation in Liverpool was a shopboy and when he went to Canada he was a Cowboy, but I don`t know where or when or who with. I was told that he may have gone to St Georges Home,1153 Wellington, Ottawa.
Wondered what ever happened to him and did he ever marry and have a family of his own? Any information would be great to receive. :) Thank you very much for all your help.

Looking for any living relatives of Margaret `Peggy` M.... Small surname beginning with M(maybe)?
Born out of wedlock about 1924, N.W. Ireland, possibly Roosky. Her Grandmother`s name was Cath (Catherine maybe). Margaret was born in to a very large family with lots of aunts and uncles. Her Grandmother Cath took her to an orphanage at an early age, as they were unable to care for her. Margaret lived in this place until the age of 14, when her family asked her to go and live with them, which she refused. She acquired a position in a Dublin Hotel, eventually married then divorced. She moved to England married again and had no children. Any information would be most helpful.
