Durham Lookup Requests / Raymond Wilson - 1927-1993 Felling Gateshead

Morning all

I’m looking for info on Raymond Wilson.

I have the following

Wife: Thelma Pugh 1932-2023
Children: 5 Daughters 1 Son (think they may all still be living so won’t add names)

Not sure if there are any other wives.

The searches I’ve done I can’t find much Info.
1939 register has him as born 1929 but birth record 1927 if I have the correct details!

I can’t find a death notice.

Parents I have are Alfred H Wilson and Ella Gertrude Chatt.

Anything anyone can add would be great thanks

Morning, Im looking for details on the Allan Family if anyone can shed some light.
I have catherine Allan born 18 nov 1882 chapel st, berwick (Cert purchased) , Who married Edward Matthews then she was widowed by the age of 28, then she married Thomas Evans.

Her mother Sarah Allen/Allan, No father named. i find them in Berwick workhouse in 1891 along with Sarah's daughter Alice aged 1, There is a possible death for Alice at just aged 3 years old.

I can't seem to locate what happens to sarah after this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Son Derek R Lee 1935-2008
She died 1978 Newcastle upon Tyne.

Durham / Margaret Merrigan or Taylor? South Shields

Morning All

I’m trying to confirm a maiden name of Margaret Merigan or Taylor?

She marries James Keenan Hall in 1931

Her children and born with mmn Merigan. But some docs state Taylor.
Her sons grave stone in Harton cemetery also states Margaret Taylor!

Can anyone help confirm which is correct pls?

Ellen White born Oct/Nov/Dec 1899 in Blyth Northumberland (Tynemouth).

Father Thomas White 1870-1931
Mother Ellen Nelson 1872-?

Siblings, Thomas White, John Hewith White, Jane Hewith White, Adam White, James William White and Joseph White.

Can anyone help locate her after 1911 please?
Does she marry etc?

Any help on her would be hugely appreciated.

Im looking for an Olive Namee as per the 1939 register born 1925 in
I assume Olive and Ann Lillian be the same person? born Dec 1925 in Tynemouth not sure why she is being called Olive..
I have a Ann Lillian Thompson born Dec 1925 who marries a Marcus T McNamee.

In the Same record is Lily Thompson (nee Kennedy) who is Ann Lillian's mother.

Family History Beginners Board / Robert Mitchell - North Shields/Amsterdam

Good Morning,

Really needing some help on this one.

Robert Mitchell born 14th August 1940 to Robert Mitchell snr and Mary Nichol
He was Born at 100 Hawkeys lane.
But parents lived at 34 Rosetree Crescent North Shields.
Robert Mitchell snr was a tugboat man.

Robert Mitchell (b.1940) died in 2000 in Amsterdam, Netherland.
How do I find his death record or information on his death?
I have come up blank…

Durham / Sarah Jane Stewart nee Rump - Burial?

Good Morning,

Can anyone please help pinpoint the burial location of Sarah Jane Stewart nee Rump?
Born about 1910 in felling
She was killed in Deckham area of gateshead 1963.
Husband was Septimus Stewart 1908-1951 ish.

On the 6th April 1963 widower of 13 years and a mother of 3 (5?) children Sarah Jane Stewart nee Rump was found dead under a lorry in a coal yard near her home on Kingston road, Deckham,Gateshead, where she had been killed by being hit over the head with a brick.
William Knox pleaded not guilty but was convicted of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment on 15th May 1963 at durham.

I’m after some help please.
Joseph Riley born Barrington Colliery 1922-2017 in 1947 he married Muriel Stoddart 1922-2008.

Possible parents:
John Riley 1896-2972
Margaret Ellen Kelly 1894-1970

Margaret Ellen Kelly was born in Bedlington.

John year of birth is what’s recorded from the 1939 census where they live in Catholic Row, bedlington.

John and Margaret married on 21 Jan 1922 in bedlington where it states Johns father also as John Riley

I’m struggling to pin down parents of John Riley and where he originated from.
Anyone any suggestions please?
