« on: Wednesday 14 November 18 17:07 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
i am trying to find  information on my late father in laws army service . I have searched Forces War Records but he does not get a mention .
Name : Thomas Lord : D.O.B.  7/8/1916 : Manchester
Rank : Private  3389583

I have his soldiers service & pay book ( poor condition ) And Know only the following details :
Enlisted at Squires Gate 18/3/1940
Served with 5 East Lancs & 13 Btn Kings Reg  and also was in the Paras .
I have a photo of him taken in Karachi  1945/1946 in his uniform shirt depicting Kings epaulettes ,
Para Wings above the shirt pocket and  sleeve badges depicting a felucca .
I would very much like to get hold of some information of where and when he served .

                                                                         Regards
