Hi,just wondering if someone could help me find the name of the ship my grandfather went to Canada,in 1920-21 and also where in Canada he was headed,he only stayed for one year,his name was Daniel Griffiths b. 08 Aug 1902, Ammanford Wales.

The only info my father has was that he went sometime when he was 18,my grandfather said he wanted to see the way of farming,we know he worked in a salt mine,but that's about all we know.

I know it's a big ask.

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,a friend of mine is searching her family tree,the info that she gave me is from the family bible,her gggrandfather was John Davies,dont know when he was born,had a guess around 1840.

When his son got married in 1887 he was on the marriage cert.as deceased,is it's also possible to have David's other siblings please.

The son's name was David b.9th June 1866 Abercych,married Anna Jones b.01-01-1865,married 1st Nov 1887,now the interesting bit comes,John Davies left his wife and children,to look for his fortune in America,and to sent money back to the UK for his family.

At some time he came back to Wales with a new family,not divorced from his first wife,the family turned their backs on him,and John went back to the USA.

After he went back to the States, they heard that he'd been shot and later died of his wounds,any info on John Davies would be most grateful.

Hi,I'm looking for info on David Griffiths's family born 1798,I did a search a few years ago on Carmrthenshire fhs looking through 1841 Census for a Daniel Griffiths,and the only one I could find was one aged 9 in 1841 which put the ages just right with the one that I had who was born 1832.

I'm hoping that someone can help me to go further back to find out more about the David Griffiths and his family.

2.  DANIEL2 GRIFFITHS (DAVID1) was born 1832 in Trelech,Carmarthen, Wales, and died 25 May 1900.  He married ANNE THOMAS 08 Jun 1858 in Llanginning Parish Church, daughter of JOSEPH THOMAS and ANN BOWEN.  She was born 1832 in Trelech,Carmarthen, Wales.

Hoping that someone can help,looking for any info on Daniel Jones b.1811 married to a Rachel b.1821,sorry don't know her surname,or when they married.

He was living at Cwm Cwtta Abergorlech Llansawel Carmarthenshire.

This is the only info I have on the both of them,any info on these would be most appreciated.

I’m hoping someone can help, this a long shot, I’m looking for a Dennis Dixon from Carway in Wales,he was either a navigator or gunner who was shot down over France and killed,dont know the year, I’ve had a look at the cwgc but I cant find him,I think he was buried in France,I dont have anymore info on Dennis.
