London and Middlesex / Is Emma Eveleigh Fred Baptists mother?
« on: Tuesday 01 December 09 22:01 GMT (UK)  »
1901 census
Emma Eveleigh, 39 servant, b. Tower Hill
Fred Ingram, 16, lodger
living with the Weeks family in St. George Hanover Square (Pimlico)

Marriage 28 Oct 1906
Joseph BAPTIST, 30, bachelor, postal servant, 21/22 block sutton street, Goswell Road.
Emma EVELEIGH, 34, spinster, 18/22 block sutton st, Goswell Road.

1911 census
Rooms two.  21/2 block Sutton Street
Joseph BAPTIST, head, 32, M, Coachman (travellers) b. Bishopsgate St.
Emma BAPTIST, wife, 43, M 10 yr., b. Tower Hill
Fred BAPTIST, son, 9, b. Pimlico.

The presence of Fred Ingram may be a co-incidence.  Emma ws born in 1861 although she became increasingly dodgy about her age!

I cannot find any reference to Fred's birth. ( The only date I have is  12 Mar. 1902. )    CAN ANYONE ELSE ??

I do not need to know about Joseph Baptist's and Emma Eveleigh's forebears who are discussed here:

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / 1861 lookup Baptist
« on: Wednesday 23 January 08 22:52 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to find my husbands grandfather. The only info. I have is his name and that he was born in London.  I don't know any dates, but can only supply this:

Frederick James BAPTIST, b. London.  He married Emma Eveleigh and they had a son also named Frederick Baptist (who migrated to Australia, married and had 13 children, but  is now deceased also.)

Could someone look up the 1861 London census, as I am hoping that he may be there somewhere.

Many thanks,    Osborn ???
