Finally I have my great grandfathers birth certificate.

Can someone do me a search for Albert Clifton King (brewers clerk) on the 1901 census please (and previous census') he was born in 1873 in Maldon. My great grandfather was born in Maldon in Dec 1901 so I presume Albert was there when the census was taken.

Cheers ;D

The Lighter Side / Do these 2 ladies look like the same person?

One has the annotation of "mother" in my grandmothers album so that would make her Elsie Anderson.
The other pic has Uncle Steve and Auntie Gladys" underneath.

They look the same, have the same shirt on?

I'm not aware that Elsie has a sister called Gladys ???

My aunt stuck it in an album with loads of stickers ontop

Hi, I'm trying to locate George Frederick Best born 1899 in South Shields, Durham, England.  He married a lady called Rosie. They moved to Canada and visited my mothers family (my mother, her brother, father and mother) in South Shields in 1952.

Cheers for anyone who can help.

England / Would anyone like to take a newbie under their wing?
« on: Friday 21 April 06 22:36 BST (UK)  »
Been doing my tree for about 2month now and I'm not getting much further forward.

Anyone want to teach me the ropes via msn?

I'm trying to find marriages and births on ancestry and hitting brick walls. I come on here and WHAM someone finds it straight away. What am I doing wrong.
