World War Two / Deciphering my Grandad Burns Campbell Taylor's Army Service Record
« on: Saturday 30 October 21 16:53 BST (UK) »
Hello im wondering if you guys could help me decipher my Grandads Army Service Record please? You all helped me understand my other Grandads in a way I never would of on my own. This one seems to have more pages to it so I'll try to post them all up but May have to do it in several posts.
His name was Burns Campbell Taylor and he was from Aberdeen. He joined the RAMS before the War started on 07/03/39 as a territorial. All we ever really knew before receiving these was that he was an Ambulance driver who had been in the Expeditionary Forces before the evacuation at Dunkirk, he then went on to meet my Nan inTwyning, Gloucestershire and later went back to Europe on DDay.
Many thank for any help you can be in explaining it all to me.
Craig
