Armed Forces / Help with information

Hi all, this is my first post on here although have been doing my tree for a little while, I have a grandfather who was born 1873 in Durham and enlisted in northd fusiliers in 1892 with a regimental number of 3442. This is where I am at a loss as unsure where to find more information about him and his life in the fusiliers. Grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction or have any information.
