World War Two / which military stand in the WW2 in Gosport?

Hello, I am looking for my uncle's father. We only assume that he was stationed in Gosport. I am trying to find out which military was stationed in Portsmouth and the surrounding area during the Second World War. Can anyone please help me find out? Many thanks

 Hello , I am looking for the unknown father of my uncle. I only know that he served in RAF Gosport in 1943-1944. With the help of DNA matches I could narrow down the possible persons. I have tried to find these at on the websites
Naval and Military Archives and the Forces War Records. But it seems an impossible task because only the first name is displayed.  Can anyone give me a hint where I can find WW2 military personnel? Thanks a lot

Hello everyone. A half-uncle of mine has been released for adoption. Now i have a big dna match and think it might be a child of this uncle. i find his name and place, his marriage details but no birth record or parents.
Does anyone know what is on a birth certificate of an adopted person? Thanks you
