Looking for any descendents of Charlotte M. Boyd - possibly of London- born in Fort William Scotland around 1895.  Parents are Martha Reece and William Boyd.  Believe she had a daughter Dorothy (unknown surname).  The aunt of charlotte Boyd is Sarah Reece who married Archibald Tait, furrier and ladies tailor of London.  Any of these names familiar?

Australia / McKenzie research
« on: Tuesday 16 September 08 12:06 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for any descendants of John McKenzie who was my great-uncle.  Migrated to Australia (probably Victoria) in around 1852.   His parents are John McKenzie and Jean (or Jane) Keith from the parish of Ardchattan in Argyllshire, Scotland.  John McKenzie was born at Shenvaille Farm, Benderloch - near Oban - in 1827 and died in Melbourne on 29th October, 1906.  On his death certificate it states he was 77 years old, a gardener, a widower with 3 sons and 1 daughter, but no names given.

Would love to find anyone who is connected to this person.  Unfortunately I do not have a name for his spouse.

many thanks,
myra

Three children were born:  Jack Tait:  Lottie and Ann Tait.

Anyone connected to this family?  Would love to establish a family connection.

Australia / John McKenzie

Hi,

I am still researching John McKenzie who migrated to Victoria from Argyllshire, Scotland around 1854.  He died on 29th November, 1906 and is buried in the Springvale Necropolis.  I have a death certificate, but unfortunately it only states that he is a widower, with 3 sons and 1 daughter but no other details.  Perhaps someone is looking for John McKenzie from Argyllshire;  father:  John McKenzie - mother Jean (or Jane) Keith.

I'll keep trying!
