For the residence part the first one is Hacketstown but I cannot tell what the second one is, it is probably a town in Carlow or Wicklow.

Hello,
My great grandfather was called Bertram (Bertie) Byrne, he was born abt 1901 in presumably Hacketstown, Carlow, Ireland. He married my great grandmother Elizabeth Byrne in 1930 in Hacketstown, Carlow, Ireland. They had 9 children, Elizabeth died in 1946.
I have made a post about this before but I am still completely lost.
There is no birth record, no baptism record, no name of father on marriage certificate, I've asked my grandfather and he doesn't know Bertie Byrne's parents. I have 1901 as his year of birth because he died in 1987 at age 86.
He appears in the 1911 census but he is living with his grandmother.

Hello,
My gg grandmother's name was Dora Galvin. She emigrated to London and married my gg grandfather Frederick Walter West in 1908. They had two children Frederick West jr and my g grandfather John West. Frederick West died in 1918 in WWI and Dora died the same year. The two kids were aged 12 and 10, they were sent back to Ireland to live with their uncle or possibly grandfather Lawrence Galvin. On the  1911 UK census it lists Dora's birthplace as Conna, Ireland.
This is all the information I know about her. I have her birthdate listed as the 12 of December 1885 but I don't know where that came from. I cannot find a birth certificate or baptism record. I also cannot find any emigration records.
How can I find the names of her parents?

Hello, my grandfather had an uncle called William Byrne born 1903 in Hacketstown, Carlow. He was part of the Irish Free State Army in 1922 when he was 19 years old. He was a private stationed in Roscrea. What would he have been doing during that time? It was during the Irish War of Independence.

Hello my great grandfathers name is Bertie Byrne he was born in 1901 and dies in 1987. In 1930 at age 29 he married my great grandmother Elizabeth Byrne (1908-1946). I cannot find any information at all about Bertie Byrne's parents at all. The fathers name is left blank on the marriage certificate and I cannot seem to find his birth record. He does not show up on the 1901 census and in the 1911 census he is living with his grandmother. How can I possibly find his birth certificate and the name's of his parents? Bertie is short for Bertram. Bertie had 9 children with his first wife, there names are Albert, Pat, John, Tom, Bill, Michael, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. He then had a further 8 children with his second wife there names are Bert, Paul, Peter, Dominic, Kathleen, Bridget, Marcella and Bernie. I'm telling you there names incase it can help find Bertie's parents names.

Family History Beginners Board / D'Arcy Genealogy
« on: Wednesday 17 April 24 10:41 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any information or knows how I can find my ancestors. I have an eight generation gap that I'd like to piece together. My 5th Great grandfather is James D'Arcy born about 1786 in either Dublin or Meath and he died on the 18th of April 1866 in Donnybrook, Dublin. He is possibly the son of Edward D'Arcy born about 1742 in Oldcastle, Meath. I then have an eight generation gap up until my possibly 14th great grandfather George D'Arcy of Platten born about 1475 in Platten, Meath and died about 1532 in Meath. He is the son of Sir William D'Arcy of Platten.
How do I fill in the eight generation gap and find my ancestors names?
