World War Two / RAF Group photo with my Grandfather

Hi all,

I hope I have posted in the correct place.

I have found the attached photograph dating back to my Grandfather's time in the RAF which I was hoping someone could tell me a bit more about.

The photograph dates back to 1949/1950. Please can someone tell me more about the text at the top and bottom of the photograph?  He always told me he was based at RAF Padgate & Wittering.

This is my last post now.

Please can someone tidy up and restore six photographs I have found whilst looking through some old photos that belonged to my grandparents.

One of the attached photos is badly damaged and perhaps beyond fixing but I know some may see it as a challenge so please feel free to have a go.

Hi all,

I have 6 photo's I would like restoring please.  They are photo's of photo's so there are glares on some of them.

Is there a limit to how many I can post ? Do I post separately for each photo ?

Apologies for all of the questions but just wasn't sure of what the etiquette was.  I have posted pics before but just one or two.
