There's article in The Workingman's Advocate, Philadelphia, PA 26/07/1873 (page 4) which is a letter sent to the paper from a miner in Nvesville, Rockville Parke County, Indiana.  In it he refers to a previous letter he has sent.  I've tried various different search terms but can't seem to find anything, although I realise it possible his previous letter was never published.

Can anyone see anything?

Thanks

Durham / What's her place of birth - 1851 census
« on: Thursday 11 February 21 12:28 GMT (UK)  »
5 year old Mary Walton is living with her aunt and Uncle, James and Mary Parker (nee Walton) at Berry Edge, Lanchester.

I can't make out her place of birth, Ancestry have transcribed it as Hutnabridge but 'bridge' relates to the person below Mary who was born at Corbridge.

I'm trying to work out who Mary's parents were but not getting very far without her place of birth.

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Death/Burial of William Jones approx 1806-1811
« on: Monday 18 January 21 18:21 GMT (UK)  »
Can anyone find a burial of William Jones around 1806-1811.

His wife Sarah was buried at Great Driffield in 1806.  The PR entry reads - Sarah Jones, wife of William Jones, flex dresser of Driffield, aged 77, buried 30/5/1806.

There are several notices in the Hull Advertiser & Exchange Gazette in 1807 and 1808 that refer to William Jones of Driffield a flax dresser.

There is a notice in the Hull Packet 19/11/1811 that refers to the late William Jones of Driffield.

I can't seem to find a possible burial for him between 1806 and 1811.

Thanks
