hi

i have got 7 glamorgan county times  and free press newspapers books, years--1939, 1941, 1942, 1950, 1956, 1957, and 1959.

if anyone knows the month they are looking for, i'll have a look and see if anything is mentioned in them.

any helpful ideas on what to do with these books will be gratefully recieved. :)

London and Middlesex / anna jackson

i am trying to find the birth of a anna/hannah jackson in 1919 but not sure where to look.

 i have her marriage certificate, which says she married in the register office in 1940 in the district of st pancras,age 21,  address 129 hampstead road,  her fathers name is barnet jackson, occupation- tailor.

i did check the 1911 for barnet, only one i could find was living in leeds with his wife and children,  but there seems to be a 10 year gap between last child and anna being born.

anna/hannah died in 1946 in the national temperance hosp, st pancras.

would i be right in thinking that if she married and died in st pancras then she would have been born there.

hope someone can help me please

need help please on this man, dont know where to look.

albert edgar edwards, born 1905,( have got his marriage certificate, )
he married doris elward in 1931, in carmel church, llancarfan.

residence at time of marriage --albert, croesceilog, bonvilston and doris was tre aubrey cottage, llantrithyd.

 problem 1,- is alberts father is not mentioned.

i found a birth record of an albert edgar in 1905,hampton house, bristol, which i got, states

dad-- charles edwards, master plumber
mum-- catherine edwards formally sparks
address-- hampton house, shirehampton, bristol

problem 2,- cant find these people on the 1901 or 1911

all i know about the family is albert edgar was in barnardos(but there is no record of this)

and the mother, catherine died early, thats why charles put children??? into the homes as he couldnt cope.

WINIFRED PRISCILLA JAMES

 BORN 24 SEPTEMBER 1897
 IN----- HENDREFEION, LLANFIHANGEL, YSTRAD IN CARDIANSHIRE.
winifred was a fletcher when she died, living in woodrow bungalow, tyntyla, ystrad

DAD--DANIEL B JAMES

MUM--- NEL JAMES FORMALLY JONES

winifred died in 1960


I ALSO HAVE THE PAYMENT SLIP FROM THE PONTYPRIDD CREMATORIUM.

MY DAD WAS AN HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR WHO USED TO SIGN DEATH CERTIFICATES FOR PEOPLE

they were antique dealers in 1911.

anything would be helpful, either on the family or the house

Somerset / BANWELL marriage

could someone please see if they can find a marriage of a

henry banwell born about 1810 in weare and elizabeth philips born about 1817/22 in weare, i know thier first son philip banwell was born in 1838 in weare but cannot find a marriage of parents,

i have searched everywhere, even writing to the vicar in weare, but he never replied,
is it possible they wed outside the area then moved back??

could some kind person see if they can find a birth of a george harris windsor born  about 1874 in barnstaple?? have looked everywhere and think im going crazy!!!!!

parents are william windsor/winser and emma harris windsor both born in 1836 and they lived in kittywell,  knowl, in braunton.

have got all the censes and his marriage, to gwen dove , and death certificates but not the birth ,
