Fife / Horn Family Fife Scotland c 1770's help needed

Hi,
I have a David Horn born 1812 Dunfermiline Fife , he married a janet falconer in 1840 Thurso .I have all about this line downover .I am trying to trace Davids parantage .Davids father was a John Horn and he married a Helen Glass .They married 25th may 1811 in Fife. I am trying to find out who Johns father and mother was .

My gran was left two properties I have some old papers relating to them .They were left to her by a realtive , its this person and how they fit into my tree which I am trying to find out about.

One property was "Brig End " cottage Langthwaite which was rented to a Mr French in may 1945 sold to Mrs Coates 1948.
The other does not have a name on only may 1945 serving a notice to quit to a Mr taylor at another cottage in Langthwaite .

All i know is that my grandma had connections with family in Arkengathdale , Langthwaite ( i dont know what) and she was left two cottages by a relative .I have been tracing her line but never come across relatives in Langthwaite so I am curious as to who left her these properties.
Any help appreciated.My grans maiden name was Charlton.

Im looking for any charlton in Langthwaite in Arkengarthdale in yorkshire .I cant seem to find any .Im looking around 1900+ .
Brigg cottage or Brigg end cottage langthwaite , arkengarthdale that was left to a family member , living relatives say it was by a "Charlton" .
Any help appreciated in locating any Charltons in this area. Thanks.

I am researching an Alice Hunter .In 1841 & 1851 census it has her as born in Smeaton which Im presuming is great smeaton ? . her birth is East Cowes Yorkshire .When I google this place it brings up the Isle of wight ??

hi,
I am trying to find out regard a Robert Allen /Allan c1796 he is down on census as born in county Durham .He remarried in 1832 and is on 1841 census with wife jane .
On his marriage entry it says Widower and a Butcher .
Im trying to find a possible birth and first marriage ,siblings etc.I dont think he had children through first marriage he had a child born 1833 to second wife jane .
Its prior to his marriage to jane im trying to unearth .

I have looked for Robert also Ann & Ralph on Census .I am after more info on his father Ralph and ralphs brothers etc if anyone can help.

Hi
just a querie .There are many researchers who dont do the research , just copy.
A while back i shared some info with another person on the understanding it was not made public ( eg put on the internet).
This person now has passed the info on to a brother who has put up a public tree and put my dead fathers name on it .He has also published photo's which i scanned also which i said keep private !.
Im all for sharing info but the site in question is a subscription site and reproduces stuff .
I have asked the person coud he remove my dads name as i find it upsetting also the photo's of his uncles he has uploaded - the man wont and was really snotty .
This is now on a public site for everyone to view - any ideas .I know i made a big mistake but can i get it removed .

I have a Fanny Georgina Blackman who was born c1889 Thekeham sussex she wed a harry hannay in 1913 .
Im looking for information on fanny as all i have are her parents were called John & sarah Humphrey ?? .I would like to know more information on them both and if she had siblings etc .Any help appreciated .

I have a Robert Hannay born 1811 Clerken well Islington London to a john & mary Hannay /Hanney .
I have found robert on later census but it his father and mother i have looked for and cant find.
Any help appreciated.
