This gentleman was born 1770 and married Grace Furniss in Birstal.

They may be the parents of Jarvis Smith b 1814 Whitley or Falhouse near Thornhill, Dewsbury.

Can you confirm?

Jarvis b 1814 d 1852 Whitley appears to be the father of Henry Smith b 1850
as far as I can ascertain and had married Ann (Ramsden)

My John Parkin on Census records is born 1836 Sheffield. He was a Table Knife Hafter. He married Ellen Taylor of Burslem. It appears at Ecclesall Bierlow in 1854 and died Firvale Workhouse in 1900.

Despite my efforts I still can't find his parents. Can you.

All John Parkins welcome, even if only to eliminate those that clearly are not him. Better still do you have the parents. Its driving me mad!!

Ann Perfect is recorded as marrying Thomas Walker. He was born 1745 at Pontefract and baptised 14/11/1745. They married 1/10/1781.

Can you identify her parents and for that matter his too please.
I dont have her place and date of birth.

Sarah Sykes born 1854 Carr Bridge, Pontefract is in my tree.

I have John as her father and suspect this is John b 1827 Ackworth and his wife Sarah Lee b 1825 Beal. Can you confirm please.

If you can add her grandparents too with places and dates and would be very grateful.

My fellow was born 1700 is shown in early records as a Blacksmith and importantly a house holder. Where was he born. Many family members are born East Ardsley. He is not there from research. I have had suggestions he could be from Middleton and the Clayton family (wealthy) there.

Any suggestions. Area to consider welcome. Other interested individuals have looked at Woodkirk too.

He married Ann Crofts who was born 1710 in Rothwell we believe. He could be from the Stanley/ Rothwell area too as later Claytons were from that area.

Please help to find this elusive gentleman. He married Ann his second wife at Woodkirk on the 25th November 1731

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / Elizabeth Bailey

Elizabeth was born in 1873. Census records suggest Newborough and then Hoars Cross. As a young child she was adopted by the Coates family.

I suspect she was born out of wedlock.

Do you know of her mother or parents and perhaps their parents. Dates and places too please.

Son James born 1856 Robertown married Elizabeth Westcott b 1859 Wellington. They had a number of Children

Lewis Westcott b1877, Marie Ledgard b 1878, Nellie Ledgard 1879c
Frank Ledgard b 1880, Mary Ledgard b1881,Jane Ledgard b 1885, Susan Ledgard b 1887, Ernest Ledgard b1890 Charles Ledgard b 1894 and Charlotte Ledgard b 1884 who married John Thompson.

Can you confirm where born and the spouses and places dates please.
Of particular interest is any movement for employment (where) in Westmoreland which I think occured and the place of birth for Charlotte in particular.
