PTE 1209 Gordon Crick Duke of Wellington regiment. Died 18th August 1915 in Flanders.
Gordon was my Great Uncle. He joined the TA in January 1912 at Lees drill hall.He had a twin sister Margaret, who i remember with great fondness. I think like most people of that generation their loved one's weren't talked about very much. In greatful rememberence

Armagh / Bryans family Armagh
« on: Saturday 20 July 13 15:01 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I am having trouble locating my Great grandfather Henry Bryans. I have his marriage cert, he married Caroline Johnston on 19/7/1894 St Marks Armagh. His Father is David. I have his family on 1901 and 1911 census. I also have his wife Caroline and Children on 1901 and 1911 census but no sign of Henry. It states Caroline is married and not a widow on census. My Mum seems to think he was in the army but this not reliable info. His profession on marriage cert is mechanic.A lot of my descendants have connections with the railways. Has anyone any ideas as to where he would be?

Armagh / Railway Workers
« on: Tuesday 10 October 06 21:01 BST (UK)  »
Hi I'm new to this sight.I wonder does anyone know of any sites about the railways in N Ireland. My grandfather Samuel Nelson worked all his working life for the railways as did his brothers, the family moved around, lived in Armagh, Cookstown and finally Portadown.

Thanks
