Heading on images is 'Annaloist 1908-1920'  but listed as 1916 by Ancestry
There is a lot of crossing out. I guess they enter the occupants in 1908 originally then if they are replaced the cross them out and add in new occupants up until the end of the period - 1920

Antrim / Help Finding Burial Sites Please Hayes and Campbell
« on: Friday 05 June 20 09:14 BST (UK)  »
Would appreciate help to find burial place of my gg grandfather James Hayes and wife Mary Jane.

I found his death record on Irishgenealogy, the date being 9th May 1906. His age at death  is given as 73 but he was baptised 23 Mar 1827

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1906/05565/4562535.pdf

His sister Eleanor Saulters and husband, also James' son Archibald and granddaughter Ellen are buried in Dunmurry Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Cemetery adjacent to the church, who I have contacted - they have no record of James' burial.
Have checked Belfast City Cemetery records and British Newspaper Archives sites without success

Also haven't found James on the 1901 census
He did have a daughter Eleanor Maria so maybe this would fit?? Not an area I am familiar with ... 12 miles from where he died in Dunmurry
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Legatirriff/Brackenhill/998570/

James/ wife Mary [nee Skelly] I have death date as 14 Feb 1874, Ballyagherty, Co. Down aged 37, James Hayes present

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Selina Coles m Frederick George Hayes abt 1902
« on: Saturday 14 March 20 13:15 GMT (UK)  »
Hi would appreciate help with information on marriage and death records for this couple.

Fred b 23 Oct 1886 Derby was son of James William Hayes and Anna Willington
Selina b 26 May 1881 Cardiff, parents John Coles and Eliza Gould

According to the 1911 census [edit: 2 Ivor Street, Cardiff] they had been married for 9 years but I can't find any record of their marriage. Their first son Frederick was b Cardiff 13 Nov 1908, so it is surprising there were no children born earlier.
There is a will summary for a Frederick Hayes died 28 Sept 1965, address  94 Cottrell Rd, Cardiff
In the 1939 register Selina  was in [edit:] Emerald Street, Cardiff and listed as a widow, though Fred is listed at another address in Cardiff. She is thought to have died about 1952 / 54 but can't find a death record.

Armagh / Turkingtons in Annaloist / Lurgan
« on: Tuesday 25 June 19 14:47 BST (UK)  »
I have ancestors Jane Turkington m William Cassells 1825 Shankill Church of Ireland, Jane's father was Francis T. and she lived in Annaloist.

I have DNA matches to two people with Turkington ancestors and am trying to work out the connection.

I have two DNA matches who may be related to our Turkingtons.

The first is descended from the Soye family. I have links to two Soyes who married Turkingtons, John Soye m Elizabeth Turkington 1901 Lurgan and Arthur Soye m Eliza Turkington 1867 Seagoe.
I suspect the first is related to our  ancestor, Jane Turkington m William Cassells 1825. The Elizabeth m John Soye was b Annaloist 1978, father Francis b 1834 Annaloist and his father George b abt 1810 Annaloist according to one source.
The Eliza m Arthur Soye was b about 1850 Turmoyra ? and father James, farmer,  who may have been b about 1820

The second DNA match is related to  Austin Turkington snr b 1903 Lurgan, parents Wm T b 1859 Annaloist and Ellen Davis as per the census of 1901. Wm’s father was Thomas.
There was a Thomas b 1827 [father Samuel]  m Susanna Baxter 1850 Seagoe who could fit as father of this William.

Would appreciate any help with tying these families in with my ancestors.

Thanks, David

Staffordshire / Burial of Hannah Nash nee Strange d 1955 Staffs
« on: Tuesday 26 February 19 13:10 GMT (UK)  »
Would appreciate any help in finding the burial place of my great grandmother. I had a researcher look into it and she found an article about her death as below but no record of her burial.
She was born 23 Aug 1861, Broad Blunsden, Wilts and died 14 Jan, 1955 in Staffordshire General Infirmiary [have her death cert.]
Her husband, Henry Nash, died aged 48 in Co. Cork, Ireland and is buried in St. Fin Barres Cemetery, in Glasheen, Co. Cork. I think I wrote to ask if  she was buried with him but no reply. He was a Mason.
Thanks you.

Genealogist's report:

The following parishes [all neighbouring Haughton] were looked at for Hannah's burial in 1955 [all were on microfiche]

Haughton, St Giles - none (I also checked the original register)
Church Eaton, St Editha - none Gnosall, St Lawrence - none Ranton, All Saints - none Stafford CastleChurch, St Mary - none Ellenhall, St Mary - none Marston, St Leonard - none Blymhill, St Mary - none Weston-under-Lizard, St Andrew - none
Stafford Cemetery (Eccleshall Rd) - none Stone, St Michael - none Stone, Christ Church - none

Other parishes whose burial registers were not available for viewing (i.e. not been deposited with the Archives or do not have a burial ground) were Bradley and Lapley, St Mary.
I also checked the non-conformist records for Haughton if there is a circuit that covers this parish and I can confirm that none exists.

Other resources
I then had a look at Haughton Parish Magazine for 1955. There is a short paragraph [re her death].
I went over to Haughton to visit the church there ....... I could not find any memorial inside the church dedicated to Mrs Hannah Nash, unfortunately.
The local newspapers (seen at the William Salt Library) were the next port of call. I looked up the Staffordshire Advertiser and Chronicle, a weekly publication, over 4 weeks 14th [?] January to 10th February 1955. There were no death notices.
However, I read through every single page to see if there was anything else and I indeed found something of interest:
Staffordshire Advertiser (Stafford Edition) 21st January 1955
An inquest will be held today (Tuesday) on 93-year old Mrs. Hannah Nash, of Park Cottage, Haughton, who was injured in an accident at her home on January 5th. She slipped on the stairs and fractured her left leg. She was removed to Staffordshire General Infirmary where she died on Friday.
There was no further notice
I checked with the staff at the Staffordshire Archives as to the location of the Staffordshire General Infirmary and it is actually at Stafford. So it is confirmed that she died in Stafford not Stone as you originally thought.

Suggestions
This obviously now confirms that ........ [?]

Churches do not record funeral services in official register books and they do not record any scattered ashes on the churchyard so we will never know if her ashes were placed at
With her husband at Cork Cemetery
If she had a child who died before her, she may be on this grave
Returned to where she was born & bred in Broad Blundsen in Wiltshire
