Kent Lookup Requests / KENT surnames info LLOWARCH (and Harnden and Sladden)

I am helping a friend research his family who came from around the Medway area.
Surnames are LLOWARCH, HARNDEN, SLADDEN.
I come from West Wales, so these are names that do not occur around here. (Evans, Davies, Jones, etc !)
Question... can anyway recommend a book or academic paper which discusses the history of these three Kent names - particularly of Llowarch, which has the following census distribution - Montgomeryshire, Shropshire, and Staffs, (ie the border, or Welsh Marches area) but the greatest percentage of the name found in censuses is KENT, with nearly half the names found there. [NB I think I have looked at and read most online info on Llowarch, but I would like more...]
NB in Welsh "LL" is a letter in itself, quite distinct from "L"
