im trying to do a family tree for my grandad the only problem is his father was from russia ..........he was forced out by the communists in 1917 to which he came to britain, and changed his name from SELIC JAFFE to ALEC JAFFE he married a Winifred Peck. What I'm wondering though is how will i get to see his brothers and sister if its in the Russian census?? im clueless any help and advice please SELIC JAFFE was born in russia in 1880  ???

Could some one please kindly look up a Joseph latchford DOB 1889 born lancashire England he was a miner. On ancestry i find him on 1878-1960 UK INCOMING passengers list, that departed from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on the 23 of November 1923, but sadly cant look at the border crossings from Canada to USA 1895-1956, if some one could kindly look at it for me and tell me what it says for Joseph it would be much appreciated thank you Emma x

please will some one look up ellen wallwork born 1834 tyldesley lancs i have her in the 1851 census just cant trace her ware abouts after  her mum are called james 1807 and ellen 1804 wallwork. cheers emma

:o could anyone please find out anymore info on a James Davies born 1828 in blackburn Lanc's in 1851 he was married to an Elizabeth Davies (unsure of her maiden name) he lived at 9 frow crescent in Eccleston blackburn and worked as a cotton spinner but cant find out anymore info on his father or mother or any of his siblings. soooooooooooooooo frustrating aaaaggggggggggggghhhhh ??? any info will e helpful thank you       0:-)

please can anyone work out what this 1851 census for thomas millington of Ellen brook says its driving me mad i tell you I'm square eyed from looking so hard at it (guess it was true what my Gran said)......."YOU'LL GET SQUARE EYES SITTING SO CLOSE"LOL.please take a look at it anyone and let me know if you can work it out his wife is Sarah millington.i gained the result by searching for Caroline millington 1851 census BORN 1842 BIRTH PLACE little Hulton,farmworth,Lancashire after realizing that when she was married to Cornelius latchford they took in a lodger who's name was john millington which was Caroline's brother
