Lincolnshire / Blacksmiths

Hi
I read somewhere that there is a grave in the Churchyard at Castle Bytham with an inscription about a Blacksmith.  Can anyone tell me the name of the Blacksmith.  My ancestor was a Blacksmith in the Castle Bytham area.
Thanks for any info.

Lincolnshire / Rippingale, Lincs, Blacksmith
« on: Sunday 22 November 09 13:04 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

My ancester Francis Allen was a Blacksmith.  I have information from the internet that a  Register Book for Parish Apprentices exists. The extract on the internet said he had an apprentice named Henry Taylor during the period 1809 - 1818.

Would like any info on where Francis worked and lived at the time, was he working in Rippingale or nearby village.  I have traced Allen ancesters to Castle Bytham so far.

Thanks for any help.

Hello

Can anyone look up the Christening of Francis Allen,  date 26th June 1842.
Not sure if St Peter's Church was the only one in the village.

Would the entry have his parents names.

Thank you for any help.
