Australia Lookups completed / Researching the surname CORINGO - COMPLETED WITH THANKS
« on: Wednesday 20 January 10 22:30 GMT (UK)  »
Hi All

Require help in breaking down my brick wall....

My request is to search for the unusual surname CORINGO, with any Christian name through out Australian BDM records.

The surname CORINGO cannot be found on SA records. I have tried Qld, NSW, Vic online indexes to no avail, but maybe I have missed the name???  Also have tried the surname with a K.

Know this is a tall order, but many eyes are better than one.

Would appreciate anyone's help.

Cavan / Mary GLANCY - Shercock 1805
« on: Tuesday 05 January 10 01:40 GMT (UK)  »
I am searching for the parents/siblings of my ancestor Mary Glancy.

Mary was married at the Established Church, Shercock, in March 1805, to John Morgan from Bailieborough. One would possibly think that her family lived in the area?????

I do not require any searching of Mary's life from 1807, as I have the details of her married life/children from John's military service record.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Wexford / Rev William BURNS - Wexford 1853
« on: Saturday 26 December 09 11:37 GMT (UK)  »
Have confirmed that the Rev William Burns was located somewhere in Wexford 1853, through a marriage newspaper article (1853) of his sister Jane to Richard Morgan in Bailieborough County Cavan.

I do not know what denomination he belonged to, possibly Presbyterian or Church of Ireland.

Would appreciate any information in locating where he was in Wexford.

Australia Lookups completed / TAS Marriage look-up please - DOBSON....COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 16 August 07 12:06 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Hope someone can help me with this puzzle.

I have a John Wright Dobson (convict) married to an Elizabeth Stokes (free) 1840 or 1846 in Hobart. Their children on the name indexes (under their individual names) are different, and have determined that they are all not siblings ie dates of birth.

Also there is a John George Dobson marrying an Elizabeth Stokes, 1840 Hobart. Their children are listed the same as under Elizabeth in the first paragraph.

A son is James b 1842 Hobart - ancestor.

Would appreciate any information.
