Australia / Tom and Peggy(Margaret)McClure Perth Area
« on: Thursday 07 March 24 12:33 GMT (UK)  »
Hello, I have recently found a couple of letters to my late Mother and Grandmother in Ballyclare, Co.Antrim Northern Ireland from a Peggy McClure from the Perth area. Her Husband was called Tom and she had a son called Andrew. Tom died in 1985 and Peggy in 2004.
I have found Tom and Peggy headstone at East Rockingham Cemetery.

How can i find out more information about them?  I think they were originally from the Ballyclare area in Northern Ireland and moved to Australia late 1960's early 1970's. Trying to see if they are related to our family. Duncan, Stewart.

Thanks

John

Hi

I am looking for the Death of John Stewart born in Ireland in 1872. Last record I can find for him was the 1915 Census in Medina, Stutsman, North Dakota. He was also there in 1910.

Any help tracking him after this would be great.

Regards

John

HI

I have a marriage of a William Andrew Todd of Lower Rashee, Ballyclare, Antrim, Ireland marring a Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hill from Rhode Island America. Her father's name was Thomas Hill and he was deceased at the time of the Marriage in 1911. Elizabeth was just 20 years old when she married.

Does anyone have any information on the family and what brought them the Ireland.

Regards

John

Canada / Old Photo - Listowel
« on: Sunday 13 September 09 11:07 BST (UK)  »
Hi

I was wondering if any one in this group has heard of 'Russell Finishing Listowel'. I have found a old photo of two boys called James and Dick and on the back it has the stamp of 'Russell Finishing Listowel.

I do not know at the moment who James and Dick are but hope they ancestors who lived in Canada.

Does anyone know of a local historical group for Listowel?

Thanks

John

Hi

A search in google gives two Listowel's one in Southern Ireland and one in Canada.  Has anyone heard of Russell Finishing before?

Thanks in advance
