« on: Monday 06 August 07 20:36 BST (UK)  »
Hi I am trying to trace ancestors of Maurice Spillane and have been told that his father may of been called John.
Also that he may of had a brother called Daniel.

They were all born in Cork Ireland. The only definite info I have is that Maurice was married to Margaret Flemming and they had at least three daughters Norah, Ellen and Annie.
Norah was born on 13/08/1896

Sorry to be so vague

Thanking you in anticipation.

« on: Monday 02 July 07 20:53 BST (UK)  »
Hello,

I would be very grateful if someone could try to look back any further than 1861.

I have my g g grandfather John Haggerty on the 1861 census he is shown as living in Devonport.
It shows him as being born in Cork and that he was a Pak seller. He is married to a lady called Emma.
I am trying to find his parents.

I have info of descendants mostly from the Glasgow area but no other info on ancestors.

Thanking you in anticipation and apologize if I am asking the impossible
