Can anyone help me with this please? I have a death cert for Edward Edgar, my g/g gradfather. He died 24th December 1845 at High Bridge, Newcastle on Tyne, Northumberland. Cause of death is simply "Found dead".  The death was registered 16th January 1846 and the Newcastle Coroner is shown as informant. I would be grateful if anyone could find information regarding his death. Perhaps there was a newspaper/police/coroner's report.  I have my fingers crossed, thanks.
