A list of 10 names written in own hand with their chosen nickname compiled late 1939 early 1940 during army training. At least one did not return at the end of the war. I know what happened to 2 of the 10. One being my father, Dunkirk survivor who served 6.5 years ww2. Looking to share list with the families of remaining 8. Not sure how's to post image of list here

Looking for a link to the Smith family who lived in Dunsfold 20th century.  Names that feature are Joe, George and possibly Eileen/Irene and Sam over 3 generations.  Believed to have lived on smallholding repairing farm machinery and vehicles. Thought to be of Romany descent with surname Petulengro, Romany for Smith.

Any help or local knowledge greatly appreciated

Trying to find the pre marriage name of Sarah before she married Lott Bennett born Hampshire.  I believe she was born in Berkshire or Rotten Lane Buckingham.  In 1834 they were living Mortlake Surrey
