Family History Beginners Board / .zed file help

Hi,
I wasn't sure where to post.
But I've been sent a locked gedcom file that has '.zed' on the end how can I open it and with what programme as i have tried winzip but that doesn't work.

PLEASE HELP as I'm going batty!!!

Channel Islands Lookup Requests / marrage lookup please De Cartert & Cooke

Hi.
Would someone please be able to look up the marrage date of Thomas Peter De Carteret (DOB 6/9/1856 in Sark) to a Annie Cooke (DOB no idea).
 I have my husbands Great grandmothers birth certificate which gives Annie Cooke as her mother but the info i found on another site has Thomas married to a Anne Eliza Des Caudville (no marrage date) with two of the ten child having Des Caudville as their last name and the rest named De Carteret.
I'm assuming that Annie Cooke was another marriage to Thomas that is not listed on that site.
ANY help is soooooooooo muchly appreciated.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Old birth certificates - best way to scan/copy?

Hi All,
My cousin in the UK has some REALLY old birth and death certificates that are originals we think and are on a parchment type paper, he would like to email me copies but we are afraid to scan or photocopy them in case they go black or worse, is there away we can copy them and email without damage? He has lots so the thought of writing is daunting.

Hi. I'm deperate for ANY information on any Le Patourel's most from Guernsey.
But especially of a James Alfred Le Patourel b/a 1920 d 11/3/1979 married Edith May Duport and of James father Joseph Eli Le Patourel (illegitimate) b/a 1/2/1894 married Isabel Alexander Florence May Le Gallez 1918, Joseph's mother is Harriet Rachel Le Patourel b/a 25/02/1876 (we seem to think that HER father was the father of her child Joseph) Harriet married john Edward Help later.

Sorry for so long a post but i hope someone can help as i'm stuck in the corner.

Hi All!
I'm tracing my husbands family,
Looking for any info on Jean (John) Le Patourel (b/a) 1841  married Elizabeth ((Betsy) Hammon (b/a) 1839
Children : Alice Grace
                John Peter
                Selina
                Leonore Maria
                Harriet Rachel - her first child- Joseph Eli Le Patourel - fathered by her father.
Jean's fathers name was possibly Pierre.
Also any info on Le Patourel would be help full I have a lot but need to fill in the blanks.
