I wondered if someone would be able to help.

I have got back on my tree and come up with a dead end. I managed to get a marriage certificate for them and thought it might of solved who he's father was, but ended up with the father's name being blank so didn't get me very far.

I'm after a John Brock born abt 1806 in South Pickenham, Norfolk. If anyone is able to find he's birth/parents i would be greatful.

HI everyone

I have just found out the death of my great great great great grandfather and i wondered if any was able to do a look up as i want to find out where he finally got buried as he wasn't buried with his 1st wife as children.

The death certificate says he died in Groombridge, Speldhurst so i'm guessing he is most likely buried in Groombridge. I have checked other churchyard in the surrounding area, but no sign of him in the burial records.

He was James Sumner and died 1882

Mary E Brock born 1879 North Pickenham, Norfolk should be living in Mundesley, Norfolk

Alfred Brock born 1859 North Pickenham, Norfolk should be living in North Pickenham. don't know if he have a wife or children as his wife died before the 1891 census but have found 2 marriages between 1891-1901 that could be his so be interesting to find out if he did remarry.

I know this isn't the best surname to come across, but i have only just discovered it that 1 of my ancestors is not suppose to be a Gabriel as he was known as, but a Smith.
(which explains the problem i keep having to track down his birth).

But if someone is able to could they find on the 1841 census for Frant a

James Smith (got no info on him)
with wife
Lydia Smith born abt 1814 Mayfield, Sussex

with child
Lydia Smith born abt 1839

They got married in 1837 in Frant so i'm guessing that will be living in Frant

Hi everyone

I have had a bit of a break searching this line as i went onto other lines of the tree, but have come back to this 1 to try and solve it.

I am looking for a James Sumner born 1800 and i have tracked down he was baptised in Speldhurst then moved out to Wadhurst,Sussex. His first wife died 1862 and was buried in the graveyard in frant with the children. By 1881 he had remarried and moved to Ashurst and then thats the last information i've got of him being alive so i think he must of died by 1891 census.
I have checked Frant for him and the gravestone has a space for him and the burial records have got him never going in there so his either buried in Ashurst or was buried back in Speldhurst where he came from. I would go to Speldhurst to look to see if his there, but i know it is a big graveyard and would take hours to go round looking for it.

So if anyone is able to track him down on records to where he would be i would be greatful.
