 ??? Looking for a marriage for the above. Daisy arrived from England possibly 1920, she was born 1894 London. England (Father Samuel HARRIS) William was born c 1891

Looking for any info. on the following family..
John Martin c 1841 Dublin
Hannah c 1850 Portsmouth
Clara c 1871 Portsmouth
Ernest Edward c 1872 Kent
Maud c 1875 Kent
John c 1876 Ireland ?
Florence 1880 Ireland ?

In 1871 John, Hannah & Clara are on the 1871 English Census, John is with the Army.
In 1891 The family are on the English Census. John is chief warder at the military prison in Chester.
In 1901                       "         Scotland    "          "             "                             "           "  Stirling
In 1911                       "         Irish          "          "  is a gate keeper and on Army Pens. in County Down.

Nothing throws any light in 1881 in England or Scotland. I do know that he was chief warder at the military prison in Cork in 1894.
Any info. on this 1881 period would be appreciated. Thanks from Australia.

Parents - George Spillett & Harriett Jarvis

According to 1911 census they had 9 born.

Can't find any published baptism records on line to cover those dates.

 ??? Looking for a marriage in New Jersey c 1919 for George Samuel Oxland & Maude Lane both from England, they are married on the 1920 US Census.

Also the marriage of their son Ronald Everett Oxland & Eunice Vander Vliet in New Jersey.

Gloucestershire Lookup Requests / Gilbert MARSHALL c 1800 Convict to Australia

 ??? Looking in any info. no matter how small on Gilbert MARSHALL  c1800. He was convicted for burglery on 13 apr 1819 at Bristol City Session of Peace sentenced to death. This was then altered to 14 years and transported to Austrlaia, arriving on convict ship "Recovery" in Dec 1819. He was later transported to Tasmania. He married a Janet Black (convict) 1834 in Tamania. From this point on I have all the families history.

Now I need to find his parents, but don't know if he was born in Gloucestershire or Somerset. Have found a Gilbert in Bridgewater, about right birth date. but wrong father, as his death certificate states father, as also Gilbert. No records that I have searched, will bring up a Gilbert with a Gilbert.

Any help on tracking his parents down, would be greatly appreciated ;)

??? Looking for any info. no matter how small on Janet BLACK c1813 No Place of birth. No parents.
She was convicted at Glasgow Court of Justiciary on 15 Sep 1828 given a 7 year sentence and transported to Van Diemens Land. Tasmania on 12 Jun 1829. Arriving in Tasmania on 1 Nov 1929 on board convict ship "Lady of the Lake"

On all the convict records that I have checked, there is no reference to the nature of the crime she was involved in. And no reference to place of birth or parents.

Having researched all her descendants etc. from her arrival into Australia, its now time to find the Scottish ancestry. And looking for a Janet Black in Scotland is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Any info. or advice would be greatly appreciated. :D :D

 ??? Looking for the marriage of Victoria Margaret Martin & Percy George Harris in Rangoon. Burma approx date 1914-1916. I think this would have been a Roman Catholic Church marriage. Her father Ernest Edward Martin (Ex. British Army) had the only hardware shop in Rangoon and sold everything from pins to guns.

Any info. no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.
