Hi all
Does anyone have access to the American Genealogical Database Index and can help me find as much information on the Hallowell lineage in Boston, town of Hallowell, Massachusetts and Maine. This is the family
William Hallowell, wife unknown, had a son Benjamin Hallowell.
Benjamin Hallowell married Mary Stocker. They had the following children:
Benjamin born 1699 (Ship builder) Boston
Mary born 1695
William born 1700
Joseph born 1702
Sarah born 1705
Samuel born 1707
Benjamin Hallowell (Shipbuilder) married Rebecca Briggs, Their children and who they married in brackets are:
Rebecca (Edward Blake)
Benjamin Hallowell (the commissioner) (Mary Boylston whose father was the father of immunisation)) b. 1724 / d. 1799.
Sarah born in 1727. She died in 1809 (Samuel Vaughan)),
Anne 1751 (Gould PASTON)
Briggs (Hannah Gardiner???)
Joseph
Mary (Thomas Laurences)
Samuel
Robert (Hannah)
I am also looking for immigration information concerning the Hallowells into the New England Area 1620-1670 to fit this family. The only event I can find (not sure how likely though) is:
Hugh Hallowell is a passenger on the Mathew (Master Googladd) in 1635 from London to St Christopher (now known as St Kitts)
I am really grateful for any help I can get
David
