Morris Kasler b 1880 Austria married Rachael Smolinski b.1878 Austria, Mile End London Mar 1898  1c 616, had children Milly 1899 Clara 1900 Morris 1901, Marks 1903 and Pearl 1912.Can someone tell me how to find when Morris and Rachael came into Britain  and how I go on to check for their parents

London and Middlesex / George Philpott 1870 - which one

I am trying to find the ancestors of the George Philpot who married Margaret Bray Southwark 1D 452. Dec 1895  They had 5 children

 Catherine 1897
 Margaret 1898
 Mary 1900
 Alice 1906 who married Harry John Hare (my family)
 George 1907

Margaret Philpott (Bray) the mother died   1908 age 36

On the 1911 census George Philpott is a widower with only 2 children
  Margaret now 13 and
  Mary now 10

where are the other children Alice now 5 and George now 4, I cant find them on 1911 census

Family sources say that they went to live with Aunt Kate and Uncle George (d 1954)

Aunt Kate was  Catherine Bray b 1874, a sister to Margaret who also married a man called George Philpott Southwark in Sep 1898 1d 330. (I didn't believe it until I checked)

I cant seem to find enough differences between the two men called George Philpott, to be able to trace their ancestors.

Can anyone help me pleaseeeeee

Dunbartonshire / Patrick Mitchell died Bearsden New Kilpatrick 1908

There is a local newspaper in the New Kilpatrick area called the "Milngavie and Bearsden Herald who have replied to my email asking if they reported on the death on 15 June 1908 of Patrick Mitchell on the platform of Bearsden Station, that

"The back issue for that year of the paper is only available on microfiche at Brookwood library in Bearsden - you would need to just hunt through the pages for a story about him".

So I am asking is there anyone in that area who could check out this newspaper's archives for me, or could put me in touch with a local history association.

Can anyone help me find the grave of Patrick Mitchell who's death cert says he died on the South platform of  Bearsden Station New Kilpatrick on  15 June 1908.(very specific)

He is not buried with his wife Bridget in  Glasgow.  Can anyone direct me to a local newspaper report that may have been made on this unusual death  He was born in Ireland in 1841 and worked for the gas board.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What district is 72 Packingham Street Islington, London n1 in on the 1911 Census Summary Books

They were on the 1901 Census RG 13/190, a big family
William, 72, Emma 74, George 46 wife Ada 40, Anne Lawrence 44, widowed daughter   etc.  I think Willliam died in 1908, but some of them might still be there.  They ran a family business.

I cant find any of them by putting in the name Hare, so I would like to look at the Packington Street records , to see if  the name  has been mis indexed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cornwall Lookup Requests / Solomon Mary m. Hare Truro 1825

My ancestor Mary Solomon married William Hare  18 November 1825 at St Mary's Truro, see Pallots Index, no father of the bride noted.

Can anyone suggest how I might establish which branch of the Solomon family she came from.

I have checked the records at the Cornwall County Records office and there were several girls named Mary Solomon who were born between  1795 and 1804.

There were two girls  born to William(a shoemaker) and Mary Solomon one on 7 Dec 1795 died 11 July 1797 the other b 29 Dec 1798 died  8 Sep1802
as both died it couldn't have been a Mary from this family, or did they have any more daughters called MARY

There is also a girl Mary born to Jane Maddern and James Solomon on 1 Dec 1804.  COULD THIS BE THE ONE.


Any suggestions on how to resolve this puzzle will be appreciated.

Can anyone  help with a marriage of:
George Bootland to Mary in Tadcaster 1846.

There are two' Marys' on the sheet at Tadcaster 23 546 Qtr Sept 1846 but which one did he marry.

Can someone look up the actual parish register, or point me in the right direction to find it myself.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Can anyone help with birth cert or details of parents and siblings of Bryan Milmoe born 1837 married Catherine Kerins in Ballymote RC church 1861, died 1897. His children are Mary, John, Bernard,Michael,Hugh, Catherine
