Was wondering if someone could possibly do a lookup for a Thomas McWilliams, Mary McWilliams, Elizabeth, James and possibly Annie, their children.  They must have gone to America before heading onto Australia.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks..bee

Renfrewshire / re: BRANNAN/BRANAN/BRENNAN
« on: Thursday 04 July 13 05:33 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
I have posted about BRENNAN,S before but have come across some new info. which I would like to post now.  Will you move it to where you think, if it is in the wrong place, thanks.
Info. is as follows.  James Brannan (spelt with 'a') was b. at Eaglesham Renfrewshire (south of Glasgow) and baptised on Jan. 6 1830 - "lawful son of John BRANNAN (stonemason) and Ann McNamara, sponsors Hugh McLAURIN and Susan McAVENEY. [Edinburgh record office RH21/62/2/2].  The mother's name at birth is different to that shown on his death cert. - Ann JAMISON.  I have yet to find the reason but the dates tie in.
Maybe she died and John remarried, however both his parents had died by 1864 according to the ship Ida's passenger list on arrival in Sydney on 18 Jan 1864, where their name is spelt 'BRANON'.
I have found a christening for John on 27 March 1803 at Grennoch Renfrewshire - f. John BRANNAN and m. Margaret McDONALD.
I have some info. on James but it is the other family I am finding it hard to pin down.  The info. I have posted was sent to me by another rellie.  Maybe someone can put together afew more pieces of the puzzle.  Marriages, other siblings etc. am I asking too much. thanks for any help and I love going through this site in all areas......bee

Hello,
Have just found out Thomas POLLARD died in the USA. He was b. at The Commons, Thurles Tipp. in 1839.
He was m. to Catherine HAYES or RYAN. RYAN was b. abt. 1843 in Ireland. I have a d. cert. of their daughter and the mother is HAYES.   At this stage there are two children, both b. in Ireland. Any info. on these people would be appreciated. thanks....bee
p.s. Even abit of info. of where to look myself would be good, I didn't think I needed to look there, thought Ireland and Australia were the main areas.

Is there anyway to know for sure or just photocopy for future reference.  thanks............bee

Hi all,
Thought I'd just see if anyone may have come across a Thomas KENNEDY b.1826, m.1854 to Ellen O'CONNOR at Cluen House, Bansha and d. 1873.  A stack of children.  Andrew KENNEDY b.1837 and m. Mary O'CONNOR 1863.  Another stack of children.  Patrick KENNEDY m.1861 to Hannorah O'CONNOR.  Only 3 children that I know of.  If anyone may think they have something of interest, will supply all children.  This info. has been given to me by another family member.  Here's hoping and thanks.  mrs.bee.5.
p.s. Three KENNEDY boys m. 3 O'CONNOR girls!
