Can anyone help me please.
I am searching for the marriage of William Divorty to Margaret Allan.
William Divorty was born in 1818 in Kintore Aberdeenshire. Margaret Allan was born about 1812 in Udny Aberdeenshire. Their first child William was born in 1849 in the Mill of Keithhall, Aberdeenshire.
William snr was a Miller.

Any information about Margaret Allan would also be very welcome.

Can anyone help me please?

I am searching for the birth or baptism record of my 3x gt grandmother Hannah ROOT b1795-96.  Hannah gave Ipswich Suffolk as her place of birth in the 1861/71 census's (age 75 in 1871).

Hannah ROOT married William Hast Westhorp at St Nicholas Harwich, Essex in 1819 (both signed) - one of the witnesses to this marriage was Edward Root who made his mark X.

I'd be most grateful for any help or advise.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Advise wanted please: re Trinity Service Seamen

Could anyone help me please? I am trying to find out what "Trinity Service" Seamen were and maybe what the company they worked for was.

My 3x gt grandfather was William Hast Westhorp (b1796).
In the 1861 census returns he is recorded as "Master" of the vessel Hercules - wife Hannah and daughter in law Susan were onboard along with granddaughter Emily.
The Westhorp family home was in Poplar.  On his wife Hannah's death certificate (1873) she is recorded as Wife of "Trinity Service Seaman". This information was given by their son William Hast Westhorp (b1822).

In 1861 census son William Hast Westhorp jnr (b1822) was recorded working on "Trinity Service Barge" and in 1861 census was Engineer onboard the vessel Goliath off Erith, Kent - so I guess he knew the facts when her reported his mothers death in 1873, by this time he was a Manager of an Oakum Factory in Bromley St Leonard, E London so it's unlikely there was a mix-up with occupations given on the d/c.

Can anyone help me please?

My 3x gt grandfather William Hast Westhorp was born in Harwich about 1796  (ref 1851/61/71 census records).

I am unable to find his birth in LDS IGI or discover if Parish Records on CD or Microfiche for Harwich area are available.

The Westhorp family may have been non conformist, but I have no absolute proof of this.

If anyone could tell me if a CD or Microfiche is available for the Harwich area or could help in any way I would be most grateful.

Warwickshire / All Saints Parish Church, Birmingham c1859

Can anyone help please.
I'm searching for the location All Saints Parish Church in Birmingham c1859.
The marriage certificate shows Matthew Clark married Eliza Lunt on 2 August 1859 in this church.
This couple lived in the Ladywood area of Birmingham - I've searched via Google but cannot find an All Saints Church in the Ladywood area at that time. 
Perhaps the church was bombed in WW2 or disappeared through rebuilding.
Any help would be most gratefully received.

Aberdeenshire / DIVORTY family - Huguenot refugees?

I'm trying to find out more about the origins of Robert Divorty and his family (below). I have no information about Robert's parents or siblings.
It's possible that the original Divorty family were French Huguenot refugees who arrived in Scotland in the 17th century.
If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

and my line is through their daughter Rosina Burt b1791.

Aberdeenshire / James Divorty/ Isabel Dason

I'm searching for the marriage of James Divorty to Isabel Dason.

James Divorty was born 1792 in Midmill Kintore Aberdeenshire. I have no information about Isabel Dason apart from the baptism records for three son's - William (1818) Charles(1816) and George (1819).
The birth/baptism record for their son William in 1818 (born in Midmill Kintore) - reads - William, lawful son of James Divorty & Isabel Dason (as do the baptism records for Charles and George). It would seem that James and Isabel were married.

Have had zero luck finding a marriage in Scotlands People or IGI.
If anyone can help I would be most grateful.
