i am looking for any information on either Hugh Macleod b1877, John Macleod b1882, Murdo Macleod b 1879 or Kenneth Macleod b1885 all born in Altas, Creich, Sutherland Fathers name was Donald Macleod married to Betsey Macleod it is possible they went to the Dunedin area to be with one of the sisters Catherine (Katie) Macleod b1891 in Altas who i think married ???? Dobie and had a child Kenneth Dobie

What a great site :) and nobody is hitting your pocket ;D
I am interested in Isle Martin and in Particular the Stewarts of Isle Martin ie old photographs of the Isle and stories in particular the drowning of Kenneth Stewarts father Murdoch Stewart on the 17th September 1897 whilst fishing for herring just off the coast.
Also the Stewarts, Macleods, Macgregors and Mackenzie's  of Lochbroom
Any information would be gratefully received
