London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / DEATH REGISTRATION ST. PANCRAS 1874
« on: Monday 21 November 16 01:43 GMT (UK)  »
WILLIAM BROWN.  BURIAL 17th. NOVEMBER 1874. ST. PANCRAS MIDDLESEX ENGLAND. AGE ABOUT 26.

After many years of searching this burial is a possible match. Unfortunately he is not listed on FreeBMD so my hopes of a certificate seem hopeless without this information. Can anyone assist me?  Thank you.

He might have been living in either Marylebone or Kilburn area with wife Emma.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / COMPLETED with thanks,4, 5, or 6?
« on: Thursday 14 October 10 16:22 BST (UK)  »
Considering the different cutoff dates of each census this is my question.

1. If a child was born in the first quarter of 1875 (Jan-Mar) what age would be recorded in the 1881 census.

2. If a child was born in the last quarter of 1875 (Oct-Dec) what age would be recorded in the 1881 census.

For a NOTTING HILL birth 1875 would the registration district be Kensington, Marylebone or Fulham? Is it possible the district was interchangeable and any of the three names was used?

Simple questions that have me very confused.
With thanks for your help.
