Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Marriage Look up Please for William Prophet

My GGGGG Grandfather William Prophet ( Proffitt) married Mary Gardner 3 May 1758 Brailes Warwickshire.  The record office in Warickshire have advised, that the copy they have is damaged and incomplete and  that I need to see the Bishops record held in Worcestershire.

I am looking for there age and parents if someone can assist me that would be great.

My GGGGG Grandfather William Prophet married Mary Gardner 3 May 1758 Brailes Warickshire.

Looking for information off the marrige record or more details regarding them.

I have since discovered that the record held in Warwickshire is not a good copy and that the Bishops Transcript has a good copy held in the Worchester Family History Centre so I will go to that office

Warwickshire / William Prophet - Mary Gardner

I Am looking for information regarding William Prophet.

He married Mary Gardner 3 May 1758 at Brailes, Warickshire and there the trail ends.

I have checked the Marriage records but they only go back to 1837 so far.
He is my GGGGG Grandfather
Can anyone please help.

I am trying to track down information about the Prophet, Proffit, Proffitt, Profit family that is in the Aberdeenshire.
I have found possibly a connection to William Profit who signed a charter in 1281.

Looking for information about Thomas Hatcher who married Mary Eliza Dudds.

They had a son named Frederick Hatcher  born about 1867 Maid Stone Kent Engalnd who then emigrated to New Zealand.

Thomas is my GGGrandfather on my mother side.

Hi,

William Prophet who is my GGGG Grandfather married Mary Gardner on the 3rd May 1758 at Brailes Church Warickshire and they had 4 children.

I am trying to find out more info about William and Mary ie who their parents were etc.

Any help would be great as I can come from William and Mary forward to today if some one needs help as well.

I am trying to find information on the Proffitt Family although the spelling changes and I have a link to William Profit who in 1281 was first recorded as a witness to the siging of a charter. Possibly before then they were Picts but I am not sure and this is what I am trying to find out. I also believe that there is a famliy crest.

I would be grateful for any information.
