The Bruhn family set out from their homeland in 1865 for Brisbane, Queensland Australia.
Johann and Anna and 7 children left Hohenholzn Holstein
As unassisted migrants they left the port of Hamburg and boarded the "Peter Godeffroy" ship captained by Meyers.
238 passengers were on board and 59 died on the voyage including Anna Bruhn and her baby sons, Wilhelm and August.
The story of the family buying land and establishing farms near Toowoomba QLD is an heroic one.
The 5 children were cared for by their father and many friends as they grew up.

Could anyone please find any birth certificates of the Bruhn children born in Germany?
Our Local German family History group is writing this story for a  book about German ancestors in our
Kur ring gai area.

Would anyone know any family history of
Schahryar Amanat
He was born in 1940 in Iran, died 2017 in Australia.
He lived in Germany in Karlsruhe from about 1960. to 1983
his father was
Jamshid Amanat who  was born in Yazd in Iran in 1901.

William FAUCHON was born at Horton, Kirby, Kent, ENG.in 1704 he died 1781.
he married Elizabeth PEARCY, b.1705 at St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey, Surrey 13/1/1733.

Their son John FAUCHON was b.11/2/1739, Wilmington, Kent, ENG.
He married Susannah RUSSELL b.1747 at Sutton Kent, 18/10/1769.

Their son, Friend FAUCHON b,1791,a publican, married Sarah Ann ROBERTS b.1792, at Greenwich,30/7/1816.


Was William FAUCHON of Huguenot descent through his father, MICHAEL FAUCHON b.c.1660, thought to have arrived from Normandy FRANCE?

MICHAEL FAUCHON married Ann Besbeech b.1682
The French Huguenots were persecuted because their Protestant faith was not in keeping with Catholic France.
They escaped to many places in England often settling around the coast.
Many took refuge and sanctuary in Canterbury, where to this day a church service is celebrated in their honour.

I would like to find anyone who can unravel this research please.

 d.1898 at St Peters, Sydney NSW Australia.

Assisted Migrants to Australia on ship "Hanover" date of arrival in Sydney ?

Their son was William George James TWEEDDALE
born 1855 died 1918.
William G.J, TWEEDDALE married Emily Jane HOLMES b.1st June 1854 d.12th July 1934.
They had 7 or 8 children all born from apt 1880 to 1895.
I am researching
their son William Henry James TWEEDDALE b.1833 died 1954 in Sydney NSW.
 In 1912 he married my great aunt, Louisa Regina GRUNOW b.1885 .died 3rd April 1944 in Sydney.
They had no living children (twin boys died at or before birth)
(Would this Birth/Death be on any record please?)

Researching the TWEEDDALE ancestors from England or perhaps in Scotland
