Hello,

I am hoping to find the birth and parents of my 3 x Great-grandmother, Jane CRILLY.

Jane left Ireland for Australia onboard the "Emerald Isle" in 1841.  Her age was given as 23.  Her parents were Thomas CRILLY and Jane ALEXANDER.

Jane married Robert EVANS in 1846 at Goulburn, New South Wales.  Jane died in 1880 at Goulburn.

Any information/assistance  would be most appreciated.

Scotland / Lookup please - Janet PEAT 1841c Census/Death
« on: Thursday 28 February 08 03:24 GMT (UK)  »
Would SKS lookup for me a Census and Death for Janet PEAT or PATE.

I am working from an 1841 Will of her sister, Mary WEIR in Australia.  Janet
was alive at that time.  Mary's Will states that her sister "Janet lived in
the county of Lanrick(could this be the Royal  Burgh Lanark?) near Glasgow".

Any information/assistance would be welcomed!

Kind Regards,

I am trying to find the family of Mary WEIR PATE/PAIT/PEET/PEAT - my 5xGreat-Grandmother.

Mary was born at Lesmahagow in the parish of Lanark, Scotland about 1758.

Her early life is still a mystery, she had a sister named Janet, her brothers were the Reverend James and Colonel John Peat of Inner Leitham, Scotland.
